A small figure shifted positions in the shadows, exposing the tips of her auds. The tip flickered, and suddenly it was gone- back into the darkness. With a strong leap, the creature reapeared in the sunshine patch of the Tainted Black wood, exposing what she was - a wolfess. A helpless rabbit lay under her large paws, struggling to get free. For life. Viciously, the fae teared into the soft flesh.
The bunny stopped moving.
Grinning with triumph, the wolfess began to eat. A simple rabbit would do for the time being, but soon she would need something larger. Maybe a deer, but a deer was harder to catch. Black pelt was now splattered with blood, on top of the clumps of mud from the depths of the wood. Shaking her body, she left the scattered bones in the grass and sat, listening. A stream. Nearby. Quickly she dodged trees, bushes, anything in her way. The female tripped over an obvious stub, something she couldn' tell was there. Growling, she stood up. Nothing felt injured. How could one fall over something that obvious? She scolded. One answer popped into her head - blindness. Oh, how she hated it. Never being able to see her mother, father, the rain, the trees, the animals. Just black. Shadows. Darkness. The only thing she knew. It was home to her. Reaching the stream, she slowly lapped water until she'd had her fill, and then jumped into a part of the flowing water, washing the dirt and blood off of her fine pelt. It was soothing, the sound of rushing water.
Another thing she loved.

Auds swiveled as the brute easily trotted forward, leathery nares flaring at each new scent. It had been awhile, but here he was. In a pack. An actual pack. No one would believe it.
A soft snort escaped his muzzle before steps halted, the scent of another wolf nearby catching his attention. A she-wolf, eh? A sly grin crept upon his maw before slowly dissipating, steps slowing but not following.
Honey orbs collided with a black figure in the distance, the male stopping and taking in the sight before him, not bothering to announce his presence.

The fae paused, auds flicking this way and that. "Hmmph." She sighed, too tired to investigate. She bask in the water for another minute before finding the land's edge and hopping out. Monty gave a large shake, water flinging everywhere, and then she lay down to dry in the sun.

So the fae was ignoring him...A soft snort escaped his muzzle as he rolled his eyes. Fems..who needed 'em. Mitts were picked up and placed one in front of the other once more as the male veered right, taking a new route. Perhaps somewhere else there was someone that would pay half a heed. Maybe he could even start a rouse, who knew. The possibilities were endless.
With that thought in mind the male happily trodded forwards, a evil grin upon his maw.

Monty hopped up, hearing the snort. Silently, she crept into what she thought was the shadows as she felt the temperature difference, and then held her breath. The wolfess listened, and headed off into the male wolf's general direction. Her steps swiveled as she dodged a small tree. Thank god for great hearing - she heard her footsteps reverberate off of the small trunk.
Suddenly, SNAP! - A twig broke under her weight. Scolding herself, she backed farther up. She began to get much cooler, and soon her black fur mixed with the dense shadow.

Ears were thrust forwards, the male's steps pausing as he turned to stare at the fae once more. Oddly enough she had backed into the woods, attempting to hide herself but doing somewhat poorly. A bemused grin befell the male's muggane and he gave the fae a questioning look.
"Problems?"

Monty gave a small snarl, as if to try to keep him back. She let herself out of the shadows, but still enough of a distance away. "Not at all. Why were you watching me?" The fae demanded, with a swish of the long tail that sat behind her. "I could hear you. Pretty well, in fact. You should try to be more silent."

"Be more..silent?" What the hell was this fae thinking? It wasn't like he was trying to pull some hidden dragon karate attack on her. Then again, he was a wolf and wolves don't know about things like that.
A snort escaped his muggane like the many times before and he shook his head. "If I didn't want to be heard, I wouldn't have been."
Perhaps if he had noticed the way the fae's eyes didn't really ever meet his, or even the color for that matter, reality would have sunk in and maybe, just maybe he would have been a bit nicer. But no, the fact that she was blind was oblivious to him and so he stood there, being his usual 'jack' self

Monty sat back, feeling the distance between them safe. "I'm sure." She paused, taking a relaxed breath. "Take my advice; If I were any other blind wolf, I would have attacked you. We aren't very trusting, especially of those who are cocky." Her brow raised, and she gave a sly smile. The long tail behind her swished yet again. It did that often, when she was a bit angry.

The fae's words caught him somewhat offguard and as he looked closer he could see she wasn't lieing. The coloring of her eyes were odd, the way she looked ahead without really seeing definately different.
For a moment the brute almost felt sorry for her, but the feeling was quickly overcome by curiousity.
"Blind eh?"
Relaxing, the brute lowered his weight to hinds, facing the female. A blind wolf. Here. Who would have ever thought of such?[/size]

A loner fae - this one, with quite nice vision and hearing alike stopped only on her adventure to lean low and creep silently upon a suspicious rabbit, landing squarely the small framed white fem's ears twitched slightly, her mixed gray and light blue eyes scanned a unfamiliar territory before lowering her muzzle and finishing of her kill. She let it lay limp there for a split second, before neatly tearing the frail flesh and eating until the rabbits hide only remained. Her pelt remained unbloodied, and she smiled slightly before sitting beside a bush and waiting for the femme and brute to take notice of her - it would not be hard, with her almost spotless white pelt in the middle of fall.
