The fae's paws hit the ground ever so lightly. She figured she shouldn't be there, she had never properly introduced herself to the alphess. But Larka didn't care. She would let herself do something that she hadn't done in a while. Have fun.
Paws dipped into the water as Larka stood on the beach, feeling a breeze come from the lake. Silver fur ruffled, showing many different hues in it. Amber eyes looked around, as though if another wolf saw her, they would know. They would know that Larka had left when she was needed most. It was an irrational fear, but it scared her nonetheless.
Seeing nothing, not even a bird, she ran full speed into the water. At chest deep she flopped under it, grinning practically. This being done she went back to the shore, and shook herself off. Water sprayed in all directions, and Larka stood at the water's edge once again, thinking.

Krieger was laying at the bank, dozing lightly. His breath came in eaven, steady, blows. He was laying on his chest and had his back legs curled to the side, while his dark head rested upon equally dark forepaws. Slowly it lifted and he yawned widely, unaware of another's presense. Slowly his orbs flickered open, the bright sun seeming to blind him momentarily. As soon as his vision adjusted and cleared his gaze came to rest upon the fae. Quickly he sprang to his pads and stood there, tensly waiting.

Larka flinched, hearing movement nearby. Then she saw him. Another wolf. Unaware of how he had just reacted to her, Larka froze, hoping he somehow wouldn't notice her. Or that he hadn't noticed her. She shook a little, nervous. Surely he would find out, just know that she was guilty.
She sat down, still shaking, hoping that he wouldn't hear the movement. Eyes rested on him, hoping he wouldn't turn around.

Krieger lifted his maw, emitting a long, powerful howl. Though he was a loner, the older wolf always acted as if he belonged. It wasn't arrogance, just a trait inherited from his family. He hoped the fae would answer, it had been a while since he had come into contact with another wolf besides his son. Well, a hospitable one anyway. He stood and waited, having relaxed and lowered his hackles. Within him was a wish to speak to another and make some aquantances. This was unlike him. Normally Krieger was unsocial and allowed Onyx to be the one to make introductions. But Onyx was even less social. So Krieger waited for either a hostile or hospitable response.

The male seemed friendly. So Larka decided to do something that made her even more nervous, meet someone.
He was older, she could tell as her paws moved forward, at a normal pace, but quickened a bit as she thought about what her voice had sounded like. It had been a year, since she had last heard her own voice. And the words weren't exactly nice.
Standing a few feet away, more for Larka's comfort than this stranger's, Larka stopped, and, in a quiet voice, maybe above a whisper, she said," Hello, I am Larka." It was short, but it was all she could say right now. Something else came from living alone. You ended up with horrible social skills.

Kriger's auds percked as the other approached. Suddenly a thought passed through his mind, but he brushed it away. This fae looked nice. His quietly cleared his throat before she got much closer. After her small introuction he spoke, "Hello." He blinked, then shook his head with a chuckle. "I am Krieger. " Strange, he had seemed to forget his name there for a moment. He sat peacably on his haunches, a small smile still remaining on his visage.

The uneasiness in Larka seemed to fade a bit. This male, Krieger, hadn't done anything to suspect her of her crime. Now, though, there was a silence,. Larka wasn't exactly sure how to break it. "Um... so the weather's nice, isn't it?"
As soon as she said it, Larka could tell that was probably was the stupidest thing she could have said. Of course the weather was nice, otherwise they probably wouldn't be on this territory. The paths here had looked like they would be impassable in the winter anyway.
If could wolves could blush, that would be what Larka was doing just now. But instead, she sat right where she was.

Krieger held back the urge to laugh. he felt that it wouldn't do much for Larka's confidense. "Yes it is. Though I doubt it will last." He sighed, speaking solemnly, and gazing around. The weather was warm for fall, despite the chill breeze that was picking up.

Larka could tell that Krieger had been stifling a laugh. She grinned a tiny bit, and then said," This socializing thing, I'm no good at it right?" The answer was obvious, even to her.
Her mind was on other things now, they were thinking about this male. And how he had seemingly come out of nowhere. Well actually, he had just come unto a place with other wolves, so it was a different matter.[

This time krieger didn't hold back. He erupted into smooth, rippling laughter. (the only comparison I can think of is Mufasa's laugh. lol) "You? Well, I guess you could polish up a bit, but it's really me that needs to take courses." He chukled a bit more, his tail swaying back and forth along the ground.
"This pack here, do you know anything of it?" the brute asked, his voice taking on a suddenly serious note.

Larka thought for a moment, and then out came her voice," The pack is run by a female wolf, Akani. She is the only alpha. Though there is a male who seems to already have a standing in this pack. There are more than ten other wolves, but that is all I know." The speech had been long, at least, for Larka.

Kriger nodded slowly, looking deep in thought. "Thanks you. You see, my son and I are looking for a pack." His head cocked to the side a bit as he finished speaking.
"You haven't happened to see my son, Onyx, have you? Has fur just like his name...sot of silvery?" Krieger loved his son, though he was rather rough and strict with him. He had been the only surviving member of his family. The brujo sighed at the memory and straighened up.

Larka thought for a moment. Then nodded. "Actually I have. when I was leaving where I met the alphess. He over there alittle ways." She pointed her snout towards where the valley had been. "Just over there,"

Kriger nodded. "Thank you." He trusted Onyx enough to know he would not get into to much trouble. Onyx was responsible. His maw lifted and a howl escaped it, drifting along in the breeze. It was returned shortly. Krieger smiled inwardly. "So then, how would one go about joining this pack?" He asked, turning back to face Larka.

Larka thought a moment longer. "I would say you would have to met the alphess, which I myself have not properly done." Optics glanced around again, wondering if she was trespassing on another's territory by being here.
She looked towards the lake again, watching it. It was a beautiful lake, and she was happy she ended up here. If she had to end up somewhere with other wolves at least.
