The area surrounding the lake was oddly silent, nothing but the silent hush of the wind snaking its way across the shore. One particular being, however, didn't seemed bothered by the eery silence.

Pads made a rythmic sound as the fae easily loped forwards, grey pelt ruffling in the wind. She had long ago grown accustomed to the silence of the lands, the chirping of the birds weeks earlier being drawn away by the coming of winter. Still she had yet to move. Her stubborness wouldn't let her. She had made a promise, a new beginning. This would be her home until she decided to move on, whenever that would be.

Salmon tongue washed over her muzzle as firey optics strolled around the lake's edge. Still nothing... With a small shrug Akani approached the water, pausing a few inches away and taking one last look around. They would be coming... Positive thoughts had become her only resource in the past few months and as she sighed, the fae pushed the thoughts from her mind. Opting to think upon other things she bent forwards, dark muzzle dipping under the surface of the water.

|OoC| yeah, it's late and I'm tired. But figured I should post at least something. So here it is.

Hopefully in the future they'll be better, but I make no promises =P

Small steps were taken by a large brute as he made his way around the lake, leaving muddy paw prints behind. He walked slowly and quietly, enjoying the relaxing sun beating down upon his dark black, soaking in the sun edaciously. His yellow orbs caught the sight of his alphess, the taker of these lands, as her maw touched the water of the lake. Deferentially, his tail shot between his legs, but he gave a big wolfish smile, lips curling at the sides. If Akani hadn't claimed these lands before he, Midnight probably would have tried for them himself; but, he didn't mind being late, or being a subordinate to this female. He was just happy to have a home. Hoping he wasn't disturbing her, the stud lowered himself on his stomache and crawled the rest of the way to her, being ever so humble in his manners. His place was here was known, and he was willing to oblige.
"Hello, Akani."
For a moment he let his tail out from between his legs, and gave it a couple of wags, soon letting it fall to the ground.

<sub>The voice of another caught the fem's attention and crania slowly turned. Water dripped from her muzzle and orange optics scrutinized the male lightly. A newcomer.

Ever so slowly the hints of a small smile could be found, pink tongue removing the water from her lips.

"Allo, you are?"

The fae was unbothered by the fact that the brute knew her name, her well scented borders doing more than just shouting a claiming.

Shifting her weight, the fae turned to face the submitted male. Giving him another look and deciding he wasn't a threat, the fem relaxed and lowered herself to haunches, permitting the male to rise.</sub>
