|| I apologize for the cursing. I am never sure what words are allowed and what aren't. I'm sorry if offended/bothered anyone. ||
Sin remained on the rise, his ears pricked and catching every sound. His head tilted a few degrees to the side as he listened, his face emotionless. If an alphess was meeting the pack that meant there was no alpha. A smile creeped slowly on to his muzzle.
Maybe he would remain here.
He listened to the wolves reply to her request of introductions. He snorted. As if /he/ would bow so low. Sin shook his head as he listened to the wolves stammer and stutter to the fea.
Maybe he wouldn't stay.
But for now he remained on the rise, watching and listening to the assortment of wolves called 'pack' by Akanmi.

Akani listened as each wolf told a bit about themselves, eyes slowly following the trail of speakers. A nod was given in reply to each wolf as they finished speaking.
She was surprised to find that more wolves were joining them. Not a flood, mind you, but more of stragglers slinking in. There were definately alot of them, she had yet to count and she wondered exactly how each would react with another. Only time would tell...
It was during a silent moment that the fae took the chance to look away, orange optics going to the knoll that rested not too far away. She was unsure exactly who the wolf was, but by his scent he was male. She could sense something else about him and for some reason it almost threatened her. Fur bristeled lightly before the fae calmed herself, she was overreacting. If he didn't want to be a part of the pack chances are he'd move along after the others had cleared out.
Giving him one last glance the fae turned back to the group of wolves before her, awaiting anyone else to speak before she continued.

|OoC| Proboards automaticallys has a censored words list and damn happened to be on it, lol.
I had been meaning to fix it and now I did, woo!
It says cursing's allowed in the rules though so don't worry about offending anyone. I'm pretty sure everyone here is at least semi-mature and,if they read the rules, knew the risks of being here =3

|| xD I thought you had gone back and edited my post. I was a little confused. Neo allows you to say that so I thought it was strange that you had changed it. Anywho, Sin is worse than a simple 'Damn'. ;D ||
Sin knew the female was watching him and shook his head slowly. He was toying with the idea of strolling down there and introducing himself. He watched for a moment, his eyes pausing on each wolf as he took them in. None spoke now. Were they intimidated or stupid? You could never tell.
Sin looked at Akani and studied her last. She was well built but not as tall as him. Most females weren't let alone males. Akani was rather attractive but he wasn't one to judge a wolf but their looks. He was the meaning of the saying 'Looks can be decieving.'
Let one more wolf speak then maybe I'll introduce myself. Akani seems rather interested in me. he thought, a smirk on his muzzle.

Amber optics moved across the crowd again. Then they strayed along elsewhere, as Larka had caught another scent. There was another straggler besides herself. Only he didn't look like he was not joining because he blamed himself for something. But rather he didn't want to join.
Eyes went again to the alphess in the middle, and Larka kept them there. She did not speak, she felt she didn't deserve that right. She was of no use to this pack. None whatsoever. Larka thought this to herself, making her punishment longer.

The silence was killing his ears and the nervousness of the wolves was beginning to wear on his own nerves. So instead of being his regular 'lovely' self the brute chose to speak, introducing himself.
"Name's Kuano. Most call me stud, but you can all just call me Kuano."
Sarcastic remark for the day out of his mouth, the brute was serious as he finished with a mellow, "I'm good at hunting."
------------------------------- The fae had remained silent throughout the introductions, blue eyes flickering here and there as she followed the conversation. When silence stretched before them the fae inwardly sighed, voice soft as she spoke.
"I'm Lakota, Laki if you prefer. I'm swift on my feet and able to run without being heard."
A small smile adorned her muggane as she dipped her head, signaling that she was finished.

Cynide was not pleased with the tension that hung in the air. Tension was normally the result of fear and the timid nature of these wolves would lead to weakness. A gentle sigh escaped the brute's jowls. Still, there were some characters here. He sweapt the surrounding area, his eyes eventually fell on a lone wolf who seemed to be lingering aimlessly about. A strange pull tempted Cynide to travel and 'greet' the interloper, but the obligation to stay and listen to Akani's speech was stronger. He settled next to Lakota once again, hairs bristling slightly, silver pools ever on the looming Sin.
ooc; im tempted to create an outlandishly violent and cruel character just to get some battle action going on. ;] haha.

His heart was beating in his ears; his eyes stuck open though they were screaming for moisture; his breath coming in painful, raspy, hollow inhalations, as if he was suffocating. He couldn’t breathe, he couldn’t breathe – he was going to die. Right here, right now, he was going to die, and no one was going to save him. His joints were locked and he couldn’t move. He was just there frozen.
Finally he fainted… Or more like woke up. Yet another nightmare from hell. The battle scarred male tossed his head back and breathed in through a slick black nose, the nares flaring slightly as he did so.
His pointed, elongated, auricles strained forward, attempting to catch sound in the stagnant evening air. Moonshine on his over-dilated, amber opticals revealed the inner soul and how it just seemed to take control of him. Then suddenly, the breeze rustled the trees above him causing him to leap to his feet, ebonite claws digging into the fallen leaves below him. Paranoid, was the one word that his self critical mind jumped to. There was nothing there just the wind.
He sighed relaxing, through the fur on his body continued to stiffly spike out at odd angles like always. He walked forward, not liking to stand in one place for very long, his large paws carrying his charcoal, tank-like frame forward anything but soundlessly.

His brain a tumult of thoughts, he scarcely noticed that he was next in line to speak. Introductions had passed through the ranks fairly quickly, a fact at which he was suprised. Raising his maw, he baritone broke the silence, numerous pairs of eyes gazing at him while his own locked with Akani's. And he spoke.
"Atticus." he said slowly, he gaze now sweeping among the crowd, his mantle still held.
"The peacemaker."
With a curt nod, he stood, sifting his way among the wolves until he had reached the exalted rock on which the alphess, and apparent accompaniment sat. Gliding easily upon it, he turned and sat next to her, making sure that his head was ever below hers; a uncomfortable feat within itself.
His eyes once again swept over the crowd, obviously stunned by his juxtaposition. With a curt nod, he opened his maw once more.
"Please, proceed."
ooc|| Gack. ;-; I dun know what I'm doing. ^^;

Avix, taking deep breathes of air, slowly padded towards the others. Reluctance filled his mind, but a simple certainty provoked him to continue on. It felt like hours, nay, days since he had been in the presence of another like him. Was that his fault? He really didn’t suspect it, after all, he had always been exultant towards encountering others. It wasn’t something that he was generally fortunate enough to experience.
He came to a halt, as he neared the group of wolves. His breathing ceased as he held the air in, listening carefully to the movements of others. Quitely, he dug his claws into the soil beneath him, taking to notice that it was soft and moist. Avix let out the air that he had captured within his lungs slowly as he proceeded forwards, bowing his head low to the ground before the alpha.

How stupid. She really didn't hve to go and tell everyone her life story. Just special traits. Now, hat's a really great first impression, Anyu, just make more stupid mistakes, Anyu scolded herself with a sigh. "And, I can run fast without making a sound," Anyu stated coldly, warning anyone who was considering a rude comment.
||Oops XD Everyone makes mistakes. Even wolves. So I guss it's not really my fault. *Blames Anyu*

The fae had continued to listen, orange optics meeting those around her. There were a few who had yet to speak, yet she let it slide, convinced that they would eventually come around.
Lips parted as Akani prepared to speak, only to pause once more, the unknown wolf that bowed before her catching her attention. A wolfish eyebrow was lifted in response and she offered a small, composed smile.
"You would be?" She asked, attention focused on the male she had yet to meet.

Avix looked up, still keeping a safe distance from most wolves. He didn't make direct eye contact with the alpha, rather he stared at the ground at her feet. "My name is Avix." He said, his voice serious and mature. At a first ear shot, the voice seemed cold, but there was a certain luring warmth to its tone. "I have come a long way," he continued, recalling his whole past in the next five seconds of time.

Akani had patiently awaited the wolf to speak and now that he had done so, she offered a small smile.
"I welcome you, to Kryptic Shadows"
With that statement directed towards Avix, her attention was focused on the group of wolves before her once more.
"I welcome you all to Kryptic Shadows. It was a pleasure meeting almost all of you. I can see you're all tired so I will allow you to explore your new home at this time. Ranks will be decided at a later date. If you need anything please let me or Atticus know."
Dipping her muzzle in their direction, the wolfess rose, signaling the end of this pack meeting. The wolven would be allowed to rest and explore, but they could rest assure that she would be watching them. Hunger was written across several of their faces and she knew that for the pack to run smoothly they'd all need ranks and a job to keep them busy.
Amber optics were turned to Atticus and she sent a knowingful knod his way. She would have to find him later and talk about what they had learned. But for now, she was going to find a good place to lay and rest for a while.

Onyx entered the valley, warily stepping and watching the others. His hackles were raised and his steps were stiff and well measured. Uttering a single bark to announce his precense, the young brute stopped and waited. He had left his father to explore further, much to Krieger's disslike.
